
Stephanie Sigman is a Mexican American actress. Her debut role was in the film Miss Bala, a Mexican crime drama film Miss Bala. Also, she was in Pioneer (2013) and Spectre (2015). Sigman was seen in Narcos (2015) as along with S.W.A.T.(2017) The first and second seasons respectively. Sigman was born in Ciudad Obregon, Sonora, Mexico as the daughter of an Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman, a New York Yankees scout from Kansas. By virtue of her father, she is legally a U.S. citizen. [2][3][4] Her brother was a professional baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman, was formerly married to actress Barbara Mori Sigman began her career as a TV actress on Mexican television, and later made her film debut in Rio de Oro. In 2011, she played the leading role of Laura Guerrero in the Mexican crime drama film Miss Bala. The film was nominated for the Mexican entry in the Best Foreign Language Film category at the 84th Academy Awards.[7][8] However, it didn't make the final list. For her performance in the film, Sigman was nominated in the year 2011 for the Dublin Film Critics Circle Award. [10][11] The following year, she appeared as Catalina Aguado in the Canadian documentary film Flight of the Butterflies. In 2013, Sigman starred with Pioneer the film, the Norwegian thriller.
