Sheryl-Underwood

Sheryl Underwood is an American television host, comedian and actor best known for hosting the popular daily talk show The Talk. She was raised by Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl is from the same family which has experienced a lot of problems. She spent most part of her life taking care of Frankie. Frankie suffered from the disease polio. When she was a kid, her relationship with mother was rocky. Sheryl claims that in an incident, she was stabbed by her father for becoming too close to her. Sheryl became a military officer after graduating from the college. However, her interests lay in comedy. She became the first female winner of the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. She launched her TV career in 1992 having a frequent appearance as a performer on HBO's comedy show Def Comedy Jam. In 2000, she hosted the show Oh Drama! In 2011, she's a cohost of the Talk Show. She's also appeared in fictional programs like Bulworth Niki as well as Beauty Shop.
